Family Friendly Enterprise

In December 2012, the Zavarovalnica Triglav insurance company received the basic Family-Friendly Company certificate, issued by The Ekvilib Institute, and as of 7 March 2016 it holds the full certificate.

We at Triglav are proud to be part of companies that recognise the importance of attentive treatment of their employees and are proud to be able to contribute to the easier coordination of the family and professional lives of our employees from different generations.  By obtaining the full certificate, we have strengthened our strategic value – social responsibility, which we try to transfer to all our employees and their families.

On receiving the basic certificate, we introduced some good practices through the implementation of certain measures, which were recognised by the assessors at the Ekvilib Institute. The desire to follow in the footsteps of the very best is accompanying us in this new era as well.

About the Certificate

The Family-Friendly Company (DPP) certification was first introduced by the German organisation Beruf und Familie and is awarded in Slovenia by the Ekvilib Institute, tailored to the situation in the country.

The procedure for obtaining the certification is also possible in Austria and Italy.

The first certificates in Slovenia were awarded in 2007. Today, more than 240 Slovenian companies, public entities and non-governmental organisations have joined the project. About one third have received the full certificate while others hold the basic certificate.
