Many students use the summer for new work experience and to transfer the knowledge they acquired over the year into practice. So, this year, Zavarovalnica Triglav is once again holding a “Check this out! An amazing work experience!” competition to give young people the chance to help organise the Triglav Run, which will take place on 10 September at the Brdo pri Kranju estate. Two students will be able to try on a role of sustainable development coordinators at the event. Application is possible until 15 July.
Applications for the student position of Sustainable Development Coordinator at Triglav Run will be accepted until 15 July at https://pazito.triglav.si/huda-izkusnja.
The selected applicants will perform paid student work in Ljubljana and at Brdo pri Kranju between 1 August and 10 September. In the process, they will become thoroughly familiar with how Triglav Run is organised and what activities accompany it. They will focus on creating and managing all sustainable measures for the event, finding appropriate partners/providers of sustainable solutions, and on communicating and coordinating with them. They will also take part in devising a strategic (digital) communication plan for internal and external communication, and will support the marketing and design teams.

Pursuing sustainable objectives
With its routes through the unspoilt nature of the Brdo pri Kranju park, the Triglav Run promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. In addition, it contributes towards the realisation of some of the objectives of the Let‘s Secure the Future project, and thus constitutes a part of Zavarovalnica Triglav’s sustainable operations. At this year’s Triglav Run, the focus on sustainability is also included in the student competition entitled “Check this out! An amazing work experience!”.
The Triglav Run is also a run for a good cause, as Zavarovalnica Triglav have given donations to healthcare institutions at the event for several years. This year, donations totalling EUR 15,000 will be given to the Ultrasound Association for the Slojenčki project.
Both recreational and experienced runners can apply to the 10th Triglav Run, where various running challenges await them, via the event website.
