The controlling company of the Triglav Group is Zavarovalnica Triglav, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Employing its expertise, experience and financial strength, it has provided protection for next generations of clients and their property for 115 years.

Zavarovalnica Triglav is the leading insurance company in Slovenia, holding a 29.6% market share at the end of the first quarter 2018. The Triglav Group (parent company, Triglav, Zdravstvena zavarovalnica and Skupna pokojninska družba) had a combined market share of 36.0% on the slovene insurance market.

Zavarovalnica Triglav complies with the Insurance Code of the Slovenian Insurance Association that lays down the basic standards of professional business practice in insurance. In addition, Zavarovalnica Triglav  has adopted the Triglav Group Code of Conduct, which represents its core values and defines the principles for legal and ethical behaviour in achieving the set business objectives, strategic orientations and competitive advantages, while observing the principles and standards of fair and transparent business practices.

 

Extensive sales network

The business network of the Triglav Group is developed using an effective combination of traditional and new, modern sales channels based on advanced technologies.

 

Its own developed sales network, a number of contracted points of sale, web and assistance services make the Group’s insurance services readily accessible.

 

Insurance agents, sales clerks and own points of sale compose the Group’s own insurance sales network. In 2017 in Slovenia, the Company cooperated with 445 partners registered as insurance agents, including specialised insurance agencies, roadworthiness test providers, car dealers, leasing companies, banks and travel agencies. The Company also successfully cooperates with numerous insurance brokerage firms. Once again the number of contractual partners in claim settlement was increased. Clients have access to the insurance services via the call centre, where they receive the necessary information; furthermore, clients may take out insurance, report a claim and request assistance services via the telephone.

 

Many services have been made available online, and the number of their users has been increasing over the years.

Best Annual Report:Main award by the newspaper Finance in cooperation with the Academy Finance for the best Annual Report among companies of public interest for year 2016. FEIEA Grand Prix 2016:Four internal communication awards: 1st place in the Best front cover class (Obzornik), 2nd place in the Best cartoon/illustration/graphic image class (Obzornik International), 2nd place in the Best multi-language publication - internal class (Obzornik International) and 3rd place in the Best internal communication strategy class. The awards are given by FEIEA, European Association for Internal Communication.
Best Annual Report:Main award by the newspaper Finance for the best Annual Report in the category of financial institutions in the year 2015. Annual Report of Triglav Group and Zavarovalnica Triglav for 2015 is also the best in communicating and reporting on sustainable development and was awarded for innovativeness as a media. Annual Report was ranked 2nd place among all Slovenian companies.
SEMPL:At the 18th Conference of Media Trends SEMPL, the prize Golden Sempler in the category: The best use of mobile for the mobile application DRAJV.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange Award:In the framework of the 15th investment conference in Belgrade, Zavarovalnica Triglav won Gold Plaque for the best investors relations (IR) in the Adria region. The award is given by the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

Trusted Brand 2016:For the tenth consecutive year, Zavarovalnica Triglav was at the top of the list of the most trusted insurance companies in Slovenia.
Netko:The website “Vse bo v redu” (Everything will be alright) and Drajv website are the Netko Award finalists in the ”Company Profile and Corporate Communication” category and the “Products and Brands” category respectively. The award is given by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in cooperation with SAFE.SI – Safer Internet Centre.
The European Excellence Awards:The Planica 2015 Virtual Ski Flying, in cooperation with Pristop and Art Rebel 9, was awarded the first prize of the European Excellence Awards in the “Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina” category. The awards are given by the Communication Director magazine.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange Award:In the framework of the 14th investment conference in Belgrade, Zavarovalnica Triglav won the second prize for the best investor in the Adria region. The award is given by the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
