On the 15th anniversary of the Family Friendly Enterprise certificate in Slovenia, awarding body the Ekvilib Institute has presented Zavarovalnica Triglav with a special commendation for spreading family-friendly enterprise culture. Zavarovalnica Triglav has been a certificate holder since 2012 and, as such, makes an important contribution to the mosaic of a high-quality working environment and organisational culture.
As part of its 15th Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards competition, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has recognised eight companies, including Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d., for successfully preventing musculoskeletal disorders.
According to the jury, Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d. developed a strategic approach to occupational safety and health, so that employees have the best physical and mental health possible. One of the main highlights of the EU-OSHA’s Europe-wide Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign, the awards acknowledge the achievements of small and large companies and organisations from various industries in Europe that actively prevent and manage musculoskeletal disorders through effective occupational safety and health management approaches.
Zavarovalnica Triglav has proved itself once again, joining the company of the best with its Zavarujmo zdravje (Protecting Health) programme. The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities bestowed on the insurance company a state recognition as part of the 2020–2022 Occupational Safety and Health Good Practice Awards competition, whose central theme was the effective prevention and management of work-related musculoskeletal disorders and comprehensive regulation of health and safety at work.
The national competition took place as part of the 2020–2022 European Healthy Workplaces Campaign, which ran under the slogan “Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load”.
