Stories that inspire the future
To date, 155 young talents have received funding as part of the Young Hopes project, and today their achievements enrich our society in various fields of activity. Tjaša Kolenc Filipčič, Director of the Vse bo v redu Institute, is confident that the current generation of Young Hopes will also succeed in this: “At the Vse bo v redu Institute and Zavarovalnica Triglav, we are aware that investing in young talent is an investment in the future of our society. Each of this year's recipients is proof that the boundaries of what is possible can be pushed with perseverance, courage and support. We are proud to stand alongside young people who, with their energy and vision, inspire others to follow their dreams.”
An investment in the future that benefits society as a whole
Projects such as Young Hopes are not just about supporting individuals, as investing in young talent builds bridges to a more innovative, creative and connected future. Every story supported is proof that gifted young people, whose talents don’t go unnoticed, can develop over the years and become an inspiration for all generations. “The Young Hopes programme did not just provide me with financial support, but also a sense of security and peace of mind, which allowed me to devote myself fully to training. It’s precisely because of this support that I have made the biggest step forward in my career in the last year. But this support is not only important to me personally – it also means a lot to figure skating as a sport, as it contributes to greater recognition, greater prestige and long-term accessibility for young skaters,” emphasised the figure skater Julija Lovrenčič, a finalist in the Young Hopes 2024 competition.
