Mobile appraisal units in Komenda and Žalec

The unit is designed for the rapid inspection and appraisal of damage to cars caused by adverse weather

By installing mobile appraisal units, Zavarovalnica Triglav will be providing extra capacity for inspecting and appraising damage to cars following the hailstorm that heavily affected the areas of Komenda, Kamnik and Žalec. The mobile appraisal units, which will began operating on Monday 16 August 2021, will be set up by the hippodrome in Komenda (Glavarjeva cesta 98) and in the Hotel Žalec car park (Mestni trg 2). Customers can schedule a visit to the mobile unit for vehicle damage appraisal when filing their claim remotely.

Zavarovalnica Triglav will set up two mobile appraisal units following the heavy storms that caused major damage in the areas of Kamnik, Komenda and Žalec last week. They will enable policyholders to have any damage to their vehicles appraised close to where the extreme weather events took place. Customers who have made claims in the last few days will be contacted by a Triglav representative by telephone and invited to attend a mobile centre. Those policyholders who have not yet made a claim will be invited to do so online. Policyholders will only receive a slot for inspection, reserved exclusively for them, once they have made a claim.

Fast, professional service
The mobile appraisal units are equipped with everything required to assess damage to a vehicle. They provide a quick, high-quality service, with a straightforward ordering process and no queueing. “At Zavarovalnica Triglav, we know how important a quick and efficient service is, particularly when loss events occur. Our mobile appraisal units allow customers to have damage to their vehicles appraised closer to home and at an agreed time,” said Boris Kuhelj, head of the claims centre at Zavarovalnica Triglav.

Claims procedure
Policyholders can make a claim on the Triglav.si website or via the Triglav Asistenca mobile app, available as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. They can also make use of the i.triglav digital advice centre and the free 24-hour telephone hotline (080 555 555). They can also register a claim at any Zavarovalnica Triglav representative or regional office. Of course, policyholders can always contact their insurance agent for help in filing a claim.

When filing a claim, policyholders should do the following:
• Check their insurance policy coverage before submitting the claim.
• Take photographs showing the damage as accurately as possible, if doing so is feasible and safe. If possible, you should keep hold of the damaged items until you reach agreement with the Zavarovalnica Triglav representative on the course to be taken to resolve your claim.
• When submitting a claim, you should provide as precise a description of the damaged items as possible, enclose any photographs, and add your telephone number and the bank account number to which the insurer can make the payment.

There is no need to rush to file a claim. Although the deadline for reporting damage is three days after its occurrence, Zavarovalnica Triglav also considers claims filed after this deadline in the case of extraordinary events.
