Job responsibilities:
• Representing the Company and handling cases before courts or other authorities based on a special authorization
• Coordinating, drafting and submitting lawsuits, statements of defence, legal remedies, and undertaking all necessary procedural actions in civil proceedings before competent courts
• Determining and setting claims reserves and updating reserves for court cases handled by the Department
• Processing cases through the information system
• Monitoring applicable legal regulations
• Preparing legal opinions
• Ensuring accurate data entry into the relevant software systems
• Providing updates to the supervisor regarding cases within own scope of work
• Cooperating with external partners, primarily loss adjusters and attorneys
Job requirements:
• University degree (Master’s level) in Law
• Strong communication and language skills
• Ability to solve complex challenges
• Previous experience in the insurance sector is an advantage
• Good knowledge of computer tools (MS Office)
• Team-oriented mindset and a proactive “can-do” attitude
• Proactivity, initiative, and willingness to learn and develop professionally
