Job responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reporting on changes in legal regulations and assessing their impact on the Company’s operations
- Advising and providing guidance to organizational units regarding compliance with applicable regulations
- Reviewing compliance of internal acts and providing opinions and recommendations
- Participating in compliance risk assessments and preparation of related analyses
- Conducting targeted compliance reviews (e.g. conflict of interest prevention, antimoney laundering and counterterrorist financing, data protection)
- Actively participating in the area of personal data protection (GDPR), including compliance monitoring, advisory and support to organizational units
- Monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements in the field of data protection and cooperating with supervisory authorities (AZOP)
- Providing information and advice on personal data protection and monitoring related regulations
- Participating in the preparation and maintenance of records of processing activities, data protection impact assessments (DPIA) and other GDPRrelated documentation
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of existing compliance measures and processes, and proposing improvements
- Participating in monitoring reporting obligations towards regulatory and supervisory authorities
Job requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level), preferably in law or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience or knowledge in the field of personal data protection (GDPR) is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the financial sector (insurance experience is an advantage)
- Good command of MS Office tools
- Strong analytical and advisory skills
- High level of responsibility, professionalism and ethical standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various organizational units
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
- Willingness to continuously learn and keep up with regulatory developments
