Job responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and assess damage to motor vehicles.
• Determine the validity and amount of insurance claims.
• Communicate with clients, external partners, experts, and other stakeholders involved in the claims handling process, as well as with other organisational units.
• Enter and maintain data within the information system.
• Identify and report potential insurance fraud.
• Identify and report potential irregularities related to insurance policy underwriting.
• Collect information and documentation required for claims settlement and communicate with claimants and external institutions.
• Negotiate settlements and determine the existence or non-existence of grounds for recovery actions (recourse claims).
Job requirements:
• Preferably a Bachelor's degree or professional higher education qualification in Transport Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• Preferably at least one year of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Strong communication and language skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
