Today, Zavarovalnica Triglav has launched its new iTriglav online insurance portal. Starting next week, insurance policy holders will be able to perform numerous insurance services from the comfort of their own homes. In terms of the scope of functionalities offered, the iTriglav online insurance portal represents an innovation in the Slovene insurance market.
The modern iTriglav online solution for managing life insurance policies will enable insureds to view insurance policy data, follow payments, perform provisional calculations, enter and follow other investments, fill in and file claims, and receive information on the latest news in this insurance segment.
Through the iTriglav portal, insureds will be able to access their data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All data will be gathered in one place, enabling policy holders to be updated faster and to have a more transparent overview of their insurance policies. The use of iTriglav will be simple and free of charge. In this way, Zavarovalnica Triglav is following the recommendations of the Slovene Consumers' Association with regard to financial literacy, which the latter addressed to the Insurance Supervision Agency and the Slovene Insurance Association last year.
Zavarovalnica Triglav has noticed a considerable increase in the use of online services and online commerce from year to year. The services most frequently used by insureds are provisional calculations and the option of filing claims online. One of the new features that iTriglav will introduce to the Slovene insurance market is an overview of the structure of insurance policies and other investments in different financial instruments, as well as an overview of the movement of assets. Insureds will be able to check their investment balances on a daily basis. Moreover, they will be able to calculate the provisional amount of their monthly pension annuity. The iTriglav portal will offer all forms and claim reports pertaining to a selected insurance policy in one place, many of which insureds will be able to file in electronic format.
The iTriglav portal, which will be available online for users on Monday 17 October, is an integral part of a plethora of innovations in the online presence of the Triglav Group. By the end of the year, a new online insurance store will be launched at www.triglav.si, while iTriglav will also enable the management of non-life insurance policies.
