Mobile appraisal units in Murska Sobota and Rogatec

Policyholders who have suffered vehicle damage are required to complete a pre-claim online form.

Following the storms that gripped eastern and north-eastern Slovenia last week, Zavarovalnica Triglav have set up two mobile appraisal units in Murska Sobota and Rogatec. The units are designed to enable the insurer to inspect and appraise damage to cars caused by major loss events. Before visiting a mobile unit, policyholders must complete a pre-claim form and send it to www.triglav.si.

In response to the storms, which last week brought heavy rain, hail and strong winds and caused considerable problems and damage mainly in eastern and north-eastern parts of the country, Zavarovalnica Triglav sent a reinforced team of appraisers into the affected areas at the end of last week. Two mobile appraisal units will now be set up in Murska Sobota and in Rogatec, which was, with its surrounding area, the most heavily affected by the storms. Thanks to the special mobile units, which will begin operating at the end of the week, policyholders can have damage to their vehicles appraised close to where the extreme weather hit in the form of hail or violent storms.

“Policyholders who have suffered vehicle damage must complete a pre-claim online form and secure a damage inspection slot, thereby avoiding the crowds at appraisal centres. After registering, they will be contacted by a Zavarovalnica Triglav representative and agree on an appointment time at the mobile appraisal unit. We want to simplify the claim resolution process, as we know that fast and efficient service is the most important thing in such loss events. We process loss events professionally and promptly, with claims paid out on the very next day after the appraisal, if the customer agrees with the appraisal,” said Boris Kuhelj, manager of Zavarovalnica Triglav’s department for quality and relations with external partners.

The mobile appraisal units are equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to assess car damage, ensuring a rapid and high-quality service and a simple appointment-ordering procedure, without queueing. Customers can complete the entire claim procedure in one place (documentation, assessment, agreement on repairs), and can even arrange for car repairs in cooperation with an external partner.

Zavarovalnica Triglav customers can pre-register their vehicle damage claim online at https://www.triglav.si/skode/prijava-skode/toca/prijava-skode-na-vozilu-zaradi-toce. Owners who suffered property damage can also file a claim remotely. This can be done on the Triglav.si website or via the Triglav Asistenca mobile app, available as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. They can also make use of the i.triglav digital advice centre and the free 24-hour telephone hotline (080 555 555). Of course, policyholders can always contact their insurance agent or visit their nearest Triglav office or regional unit for help in filing their claim.

There is no need to rush to file a claim. Although the deadline for reporting damage is three days after its occurrence, Zavarovalnica Triglav also considers claims filed after this deadline in the case of extreme events.
